We focus on acquiring, owning, operating and managing garden-style and mid-rise apartment communities in suburban submarkets of larger cities primarily in the southeastern United States, including Texas. We currently own and operate apartment communities in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
Our apartment communities are characterized by attractive features including substantial landscaping, well-maintained exteriors and high quality interior finishes and amenities. Our properties typically include such amenities as swimming pools, clubhouses, fitness facilities and controlled-access gated entrances.
With roots established in 1980, Trade Street Residential has pursued opportunistic real estate investment and development strategies generating over $2 billion in deal development. Since 2005, Trade Street Residential has closed on over $500 million worth of multifamily residential communities and development projects. Many of these transactions have been "off-market" transactions which have been sourced through our significant relationships, which have enabled Trade Street Residential to create value for its investors.
